The Philippine Exporters Foundation Region III, Inc., better known as the Philexport R3, is the umbrella organization of all exporting sectors in Region 3. It was founded in January 1991 by 7 companies in the furniture manufacturing business, incorporated march 31, 1992 and subsequently registered as a non-stock, non-profit corporation with the Securities and Exchange Commission in January 13, 1993.

The Philexport Region XII Chapter Inc. was established in 1973 as Philexport Socksargen. The Chapter started the One Stop Shop Export Documentation Center (OSEDC) services in 1978.  In 2006 , the name was changed to Philexport Region XII Chapter Inc.. This chapter is the only Philexport Chapter in the country that has a BFAR-recognized testing laboratory with accreditation of ISO 17025 Biological Section and Chemical Section and DOH Accreditation of Laboratory for Drinking Water Analysis.

The Chapter received a National Award for three consecutive years given by both the Employers Confederation of the Philippjnes (ECOP) and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI).
