PHILEXPORT continues to fulfill its commitment to promote and advocate sustainability and responsible business practices as it participated in the Just Transition Framework Design Sprint.
Organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), the event brought together stakeholders from the private sector for a collaborative group discussion and writeshop. It was designed to help ensure a fair, inclusive, and equitable shift toward low-carbon and climate-resilient development. Aligned with the Philippines’ climate commitments in the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), the result of this co-developed framework, designed to ensure that no sector, enterprise, or community is left behind in the shift, will be presented at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP 30) in November 2025.
By taking part in this initiative, PHILEXPORT reaffirms its role in shaping policies and strategies that uphold both economic growth and environmental stewardship, working hand-in-hand with partners to enable a fair transition for all.
